Teri
Dog Walking Team
Teri is a Seattle native and University of Washington alum with a lifelong passion for animal care. She founded Furry Faces Foundation in 2006 and has successfully rehabilitated over 300 feral cats. Teri brings exceptional feline expertise and is excited to join both our Cat Sitting and Small Animals team, as well as our Dog Walking team.

Stephanie
Dog Walking Team
Stephanie has been a dedicated dog lover her entire life, growing up with schnauzers and later adopting her terrier mix, Vinnie, nine years ago. Caring for Vinnie has deepened her understanding of unique canine behavior and strengthened her commitment to helping dogs feel comfortable and confident. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys watching basketball, playing video games, and exploring new cooking and baking recipes.
Sherri
Dog Walking Team
Sherri has a special fondness for small dogs and senior pets, having adopted several over the years. Her current companion is Bentley, a rescue pup she adores. Outside of work, Sherri enjoys spending time with her partner, Dave, including watching football, snow skiing, and hosting sleepovers with her young granddaughter. She values family time and brings warmth, reliability, and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Adrian
Dog Walking / Cat Sitting Team
Adrian is a Washington native with a lifelong love for animals. She grew up riding and training horses and has nearly always shared her home with cats. She and her husband currently adore two rescue kitties. An aspiring writer and artist, Adrian is transitioning from a demanding design career and looks forward to spending her time walking dogs and enjoying outdoor adventures.

Andrea
Dog Walking Team
Andrea is a dedicated and responsible dog owner with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments in West Seattle. She is skilled in positive reinforcement training, reactivity management, and providing safe, engaging walks. Andrea prioritizes each dog’s comfort, safety, and individual needs while building trust and confidence.
Lindsey
Dog Walking Team
Lindsey is a lifelong Washington resident who has called West Seattle home for the past ten years. She grew up with both cats and dogs and has a long history of caring for stray cats along the way. Missing daily walks with a dog of her own, Lindsey enjoys combining her love of animals with time outdoors through dog walking and pet care.
Dyl
Dog Walking Team
Dylan (Turtle Mountain Chippewa) has been a member of Red Eagle Soaring Native Youth Theatre in Seattle for eighteen years, acting in and co-writing more than forty productions, including his original play Killer Whale and the Black Rush, which premiered at ACT Theatre in 2019. A lifelong animal caretaker, Dylan has experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles of all sizes.
Joelle
Dog Walking Team
Joelle has a lifelong passion for animals, with a particular love for dogs. She has experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and abilities, ensuring their safety and happiness. Outside of work, Joelle enjoys painting, singing, exploring the natural world, and spending time with her own dog, Ziggy. She looks forward to becoming your dog’s trusted companion and friend.
Lindsi
Dog Walking Team
Lindsi has lived in Seattle for 13 years, including 11 in West Seattle. She is passionate about working with animals and staying physically active, providing peace of mind to pet owners while they are away. She values being fully present with each dog she walks. Outside of work, Lindsi enjoys music, jiu-jitsu, spending time in parks, and caring for her own dog.
Teresa
Dog Walking Team
A Pacific Northwest native, Teresa brings over a decade of experience caring for the elderly and 13 years of professional dog walking, along with a lifelong dedication to animal care. Compassion and safety guide her work, and she treats every pet as her own. A former dog wrangler at a doggy daycare, she now shares life with her partner, two cats, and their dog, Finn.

Dog Walking Team
Megan, originally from Boston, has lived in West Seattle for 12 years and loves the Pacific Northwest. She has shared her life with three dogs and two cats and has served as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Megan values understanding each animal’s unique personality and ensuring pet owners feel confident in their pets’ care. She enjoys hiking and backpacking in her free time.

Cat Team Lead / New Client Onboarding
Ben, born and raised in Seattle, has spent his life surrounded by cats. He began caring for neighborhood cats as a child and understands the anxiety of leaving pets behind. Both he and his wife travel frequently, making him passionate about providing peace of mind for pet owners. Ben takes great pleasure in visiting neighborhood cats and ensuring all their needs are met.

Jenn has lived in West Seattle for 25 years, where she has built a strong sense of community. She has always adored cats of all ages and personalities and treats them as family. Jenn takes joy in caring for cats while their owners are away, ensuring their needs are fully met. She also enjoys music, record collecting, traveling, and cooking.
Lydia
Cat Sitting Team
Lydia grew up across the country but has made her home in the lush Pacific Northwest. She loves West Seattle for its proximity to both the ocean and abundant greenbelt forests. A lifelong cat lover and owner, Lydia currently shares her home with two cats. She enjoys walking and playing with dogs, and in her free time, she goes camping and teaches yoga.

Whitley’s love for animals has taken her from Iowa to Washington. As the trusted pet sitter for friends and family, she brings that same care and attention to every pet she cares for. Outside of pet sitting, Whitley owns a photography and social media business, enjoys walking the farmers market, attending local shows, and providing pet owners peace of mind while they are away.
Rachel

Originally from Tennessee, Rachel has lived in Seattle for most of her life, including many years in West Seattle with her husband and two playful cats, Caz and Remy. A former tech professional, she now focuses on activities that bring her joy, including reading, crafting, and volunteering at a local cat shelter. Rachel looks forward to caring for and getting to know your cats.

Lisa is a retired watchmaker and long time cat lover. She also enjoys cooking, traveling and making jewelry. A client of Close to Home and now member of the cat team.

Jen has lived in Washington for most of her life and has loved cats for as long as she can remember. When not spending time with her own kitties, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and making music with her husband. At Close to Home, Jen takes pride in providing pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry friends are well cared for.
Savannah
Cat Sitting Team
Savannah was born on Vancouver Island, Canada, and recently moved to West Seattle. A lifelong cat lover, she treats cats as cherished family members. Savannah understands how stressful it can be for pet owners to leave their animals and is dedicated to providing attentive, compassionate care. She looks forward to putting owners at ease while caring for the many cats at Close to Home.

Adriana moved from Las Vegas to Seattle in 1998 and has always had a deep love for animals and nature. She grew up with dogs and has shared her life with a variety of furry and feathered companions. When not caring for animals, Adriana enjoys pottery, nature walks, reading, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Linda
Cat Sitting Team
Linda, a long-time West Seattle resident now living in Alki, is retired and thrilled to turn her passion for cats into her career. She understands the stress of leaving pets behind and prioritizes clear communication and attention to detail. When not caring for cats, Linda enjoys spending time with her senior tabby Liz, gardening, walking in local parks, visiting art galleries, and reading.

Rachel was raised in the woods of unincorporated King County, now Maple Valley/Black Diamond, as the eldest of eight children. Growing up, she cared for a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and more. She now lives in West Seattle with her partner and two rescue cats, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Ziggy Stardust.
